There are two elements to our service.
The first provides prompt attention to the needs of our private clients, notably in the provision of a team keen to make property transactions efficient and in the sympathetic consideration of wills, probate and tax issues. We can also assist with problems of general civil litigation and employment law.
The second relates to business and farming clients who are at the centre of our practice. We bring experience of a wide range of businesses particularly those involved in the development of land. We place at the disposal of our clients:
- Our local knowledge built up over generations, enabling our advice to take account of the widest aspects of commercial opportunities and problems
- Our day to day contacts with local, regional and national bodies, with experts in diverse fields including accountants, bankers and counsel in specialist fields
- Our perception of client problems in their wider commercial, financial and personal context
- Experience in contending with the torrent of legislation which nowadays confronts us all and which can sometimes detract from identification and assessment of core issues
We have particular experience in planning having been closely involved with the Kent Structure Plan alterations and the Local Plans in several parts of Kent and the South East. We work closely with specialists and make applications and appeals, regularly appearing as advocates at public inquiries.
In summary we provide business with a direct, local personal service sympathetic to the problems and opportunities of the 21st century.
