Managing Violence in Licensed and Retail Premises Toolkit

Employers have a duty under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 to protect the health, safety and welfare of their employees. The Health and Safety Executive has worked with local authorities to develop a toolkit designed to help reduce the risk of work-related violence in licensed or retail premises. This provides practical advice on how to carry out a risk assessment and the action you can take to prevent or control work-related violence.
