Employment Tribunals

If you wish to make a claim to an Employment Tribunal, you must do so within three months of the date of dismissal otherwise you will lose your right to make a claim. Contacting us for early advice can be the difference between a successful or a failed Employment Tribunal Claim.

Types of Employment Tribunal Claims

There can be many different types of Employment Tribunal Claims, including unfair dismissal, sexual, age or race discrimination, breach of your employment contract (implied or actual) or unfair dismissal for redundancy.

Whatever the nature of your claim, we can help you to ensure that you complete the claim correctly and claim for all of the compensation that you are entitled to. The Application is sent by the Employment Tribunal to your employer who has 21 days to respond. ACAS will contact you to explore the possibility of settlement and in most cases this does happen, avoiding the need for a hearing.

Costs

We can often act for you on a fixed fee basis so that you know exactly how much you will have to pay. We can even take stage payments to make it easier for you. We know that our advice can save you time and improve the chances of a successful outcome for you
